Bringing complex research to the surface.

Portrait of Jonathan Follett

I help science and technology organizations turn complex research into stories that drive decisions.

Jonathan Follett is a content strategist, author, and editor who makes complex ideas in AI, health, and emerging technology clear to the people who need to act on them.

For more than 17 years, he has built content programs for enterprise and government clients, including NIH, MITRE, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a Principal at GoInvo, a Boston software design studio whose clients include Apple, Johnson & Johnson, and 3M, he leads editorial strategy and turns research into features, case studies, data visualizations, and interactive microsites for executives, clinicians, and public-sector buyers.

Jonathan is the lead author and editor of Designing for Emerging Technologies (O’Reilly), and has published more than 50 bylined features on AI and emerging tech in O’Reilly Radar, ACM Interactions, and Towards Data Science, with articles translated into five languages. As host and producer of the Creative Next podcast, he has interviewed AI researchers and practitioners, including Noam Brown of OpenAI, about how machine learning is changing creative work.

His work has been featured in The Atlantic, WIRED, Forbes, and the Huffington Post. He holds a B.S. in Communication from Boston University, summa cum laude.
